Welcome!
I’m Austin and I’m a music educator teaching internationally in Beijing, China. Back when COVID first affected us, I had to implement a new way of teaching without ever having taught that way before. The rest of the world had not been hit with COVID yet, so there were very few online teaching resources for elementary music teachers.
As I learned and grew through teaching online, I started creating new materials with the goal of engaging my students in a meaningful way. My YouTube channel grew as more teachers begin to teach online throughout the world.
Much of what I create goes beyond YouTube, so I’m creating this website to share many of the materials that I have created since I’ve started teaching. I hope you will find something useful and inspiring. Thanks for stopping by!

Resources
I create resources to use in the general music classroom.
Little Winter Duets is a charming collection of three short duets for beginning recorder players. These melodies are easily approachable for late third or early fourth-grade students, yet are enjoyable for even fifth grade and beyond!
This slideshow contains
Slides for each of the three duets
Fingering charts for the notes used in the activity
Recordings for each duet
